A tow vehicle rated for the trailer, the right ball, and a working 7-pin or 4-flat plug — tie-downs you can get from us. The 12′ utility, both 16′ utilities, the 20′ utility, the 18′ car hauler, both small dumps and the enclosed cargo pull behind a ½-ton. The 16′ × 3′ dump, the 20′ and 24′ car haulers and both tilt trailers want a ¾-ton or better. We walk your setup with you before you leave the yard.

A 2″ ball covers the 12′, 16′ and 20′ utilities, the 18′ car hauler and both the 8′ × 18″ and 10′ × 24″ dumps. Everything heavier — the 16′ × 3′ dump, the 20′ and 24′ car haulers, both tilts and the enclosed cargo — runs a 2-5/16″ ball. Every card in the fleet lists its coupler.

Not unless you want to. Ratchet straps are free with any trailer — take what your load needs. Chain-and-binder sets are $10 per set, per day if you're hauling equipment that calls for chain. You're welcome to bring your own gear instead; either way we look the load over before you pull out.

Mowers, ATVs and cleanouts ride on a utility. Dirt, gravel and tear-off go in a dump. Cars, side-by-sides and small tractors go on a car hauler. Skid steers, scissor lifts and anything low-clearance load easiest on a tilt. Moves and tools that can't ride in the rain go in the enclosed cargo. Not sure? Yes, both. Bring a valid driver's license and current liability insurance on the truck doing the towing — a card or the carrier's app is fine. We check them at pickup before the trailer leaves the yard, and the renter on the agreement has to be the person whose license and insurance we see. No license or no coverage means no trailer, so get it sorted before you drive over.

No. Reserving a trailer is free — there's no booking fee and no deposit taken up front. You call, we check the yard, and your dates go on the calendar. The refundable deposit and the rental itself are both settled at pickup, and nothing is charged through the website.

$200 on the dump trailers and both tilt trailers, $150 on everything else, collected at pickup. It's refundable — we return it once the trailer comes back clean, undamaged and on time.

Credit card, debit card, cash, Zelle or Cash App. Everything — the rental, 8.25% Texas sales tax and the refundable deposit — is settled at pickup, and nothing is due before then. Nothing is charged through the website itself; the request form just organizes your details and gives you an estimated total.

Close to it. The reserve section shows you what's open and what's booked for your dates, straight off the yard calendar, and sending your request puts a short courtesy hold on that trailer while we wait to hear from you. The hold isn't a reservation — it expires on its own, and only a phone call turns it into a booked trailer. That's deliberate: the owner would rather tell you himself that a trailer is sitting there greased and aired up than let software promise it.

Probably — but nothing on this page shows live availability, so call and we'll tell you what's sitting on the yard right now. Short-notice rentals are normal around here.

Yes. The rate table stops at seven days because that covers most jobs — if you need it for two weeks or a month, call and we'll work out a rate for the stretch you need.

Call as soon as you know. Dates move all the time on job sites and we'd rather shuffle the schedule than hold a trailer you can't use — moving your dates costs nothing. Cancelling costs nothing either, since we don't take any money up front — just call as soon as you know so we can free the trailer up for someone else.

Either way. Hooking up at our yard in Early is always free. Delivery is $50 flat in Early, Brownwood, Blanket and Zephyr. Every other town we serve — Bangs and Coleman out to Comanche, Stephenville, Goldthwaite, Brady and Cisco — is that same $50 plus a dollar a mile past those four towns. Give us the address and we'll quote the whole run before you book.

We're open 7:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 2:00 pm Saturday, and closed Sunday. Need a trailer outside those hours, or on a Sunday? Call and we'll come open the gate for a flat $50.

Call us at least two hours before your return time and you get a one-hour grace period. After that it's $50 per hour, or any part of an hour, past the return time. Not calling is a default under Section 15 of the rental agreement, so pick up the phone — we're easy to work with when we know.

Sweep the deck and dump what you hauled. Dump trailers should come back empty — no dirt, gravel or debris left in the bed. That's all it takes to get the full deposit back.

Yes. Every rental is covered by the signed APEX Master Trailer Rental Agreement, which spells out condition, use, tie-downs and returns. We go over it with you at pickup and you'll leave knowing exactly what you signed.
