No booking fee

Reserving costs nothing. Call, we check the yard, and your dates go on the calendar. You pay the deposit and the rental at pickup — nothing before that.

$150–200

Refundable deposit

$200 on the dump trailers and both tilt trailers, $150 on every other trailer, collected at pickup. Returned after the trailer comes back clean, undamaged, and on time.

5 ways

How you pay

Credit card, debit card, cash, Zelle and Cash App. The deposit and the rental are both settled at pickup — nothing is due when you book.

$50 + $1/mile

Delivery

$50 flat in Early, Brownwood, Blanket and Zephyr. Every other town we serve is that same $50 plus a dollar a mile past those four. Hooking up at our yard in Early is always free — give us the address and we'll quote the whole run before you book.

$50/hr

Late fee

Charged per hour, or any part of an hour, past your return time. It's avoidable — see the grace period.

$50 after hours

After-hours rental

We're open 7:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 2:00 pm Saturday, and closed Sunday. Need a trailer outside those hours, or on a Sunday? Call and we'll come open the gate for a flat $50.

2 hr

Call-ahead grace

Call at least two hours before your return time and you get a one-hour grace period. Not calling is a default under Section 15 of the agreement.

$10/day each

Chains & binders

Chain-and-binder sets rent for $10 per set, per day. Ratchet straps are free with any trailer — take what the load needs.

You

Tow vehicle & hitch

Bring a rated hitch and a working 7-pin or 4-flat. We'll check your setup before you leave.

How It Works

Four steps, start to finish.

  1. 01

    Call us

Give us the dates and what you're moving — we'll confirm which trailer fits and that it's open while you're still on the phone. There's no booking fee — your dates go on the calendar on that call.

  2. 02

    Sign & deposit

Short rental agreement, driver's license, and the rest of the deposit — your $50 already came off the top. Five minutes at the yard when you come hook up.

  3. 03

    Hook up & roll

We walk the trailer with you — tires, lights, coupler, safety chains, hoist function — then load you out and get you gone.

  4. 04

    Bring it back

Sweep the deck, return on time, get your deposit back. Running behind? Call two hours ahead for the grace period.

Reserve

One call locks in a trailer.

Check what's open below, then call — the phone rings the owner directly and he'll confirm on the spot. The form builds a tidy request that goes out as a text and an email together, and it puts a short hold on the trailer while we wait to hear from you. A hold isn't a reservation: the trailer isn't yours until we talk. Reserving costs nothing — the refundable deposit and the rental are both paid at pickup.

What’s open

Checking the yard…

Pick your dates and see what’s free before you fill anything out. Tap a trailer to drop it straight into the form.

    Reservation request

    Driver's license

This is what goes on your rental agreement. Enter the name exactly as it’s printed on the license, including a middle name if it’s on there. We still check the physical license at pickup, and the renter on the agreement has to be the person on the license.

    Insurance

Liability coverage has to be current on the truck doing the towing. Bring the card or pull it up in your carrier's app at pickup.

Everything you type on this form — your name, phone number, email address, home address, driver's license number and issuing state, insurance company and policy number, your tow vehicle, and anything in the notes — is emailed straight to APEX with this request. Nothing is stored on this page, and we never sell it or hand it to anyone else. We use it to confirm your dates, check that you can legally tow the trailer, and fill out your rental agreement. Only your name, phone, email, trailer and dates are required. If you'd rather not send your address, license or insurance details this way, leave them blank and give them to us on the phone. Details are in our privacy policy.

We confirm every reservation by phone either way. See our messaging terms and privacy policy.

Ratchet straps come free with every trailer; chain-and-binder sets are $10 per set, per day. The estimate adds 8.25% Texas sales tax. Nothing is charged on this form and no trailer is booked online — the text and email alone don't hold one. The form just organizes your details. You still have to call to confirm availability — that call is what locks the trailer in. Bring your license and insurance to pickup.

    FAQ

Questions we get on the phone.

If yours isn't here, call (325) 430-7646 and ask the owner directly — 7 am to 6 pm weekdays, 7 am to 2 pm Saturday.

    Towing & equipment

What do I need to tow one of your trailers?

A tow vehicle rated for the trailer, the right ball, and a working 7-pin or 4-flat plug — tie-downs you can get from us. The 12′ utility, both 16′ utilities, the 20′ utility, the 18′ car hauler, both small dumps and the enclosed cargo pull behind a ½-ton. The 16′ × 3′ dump, the 20′ and 24′ car haulers and both tilt trailers want a ¾-ton or better. We walk your setup with you before you leave the yard.

Which ball size do I bring?

A 2″ ball covers the 12′, 16′ and 20′ utilities, the 18′ car hauler and both the 8′ × 18″ and 10′ × 24″ dumps. Everything heavier — the 16′ × 3′ dump, the 20′ and 24′ car haulers, both tilts and the enclosed cargo — runs a 2-5/16″ ball. Every card in the fleet lists its coupler.

Do I need to bring my own straps and chains?

Not unless you want to. Ratchet straps are free with any trailer — take what your load needs. Chain-and-binder sets are $10 per set, per day if you're hauling equipment that calls for chain. You're welcome to bring your own gear instead; either way we look the load over before you pull out.

    Which trailer do I need?

Mowers, ATVs and cleanouts ride on a utility. Dirt, gravel and tear-off go in a dump. Cars, side-by-sides and small tractors go on a car hauler. Skid steers, scissor lifts and anything low-clearance load easiest on a tilt. Moves and tools that can't ride in the rain go in the enclosed cargo. Not sure? Pick “help me pick” on the form or just call and describe the load.

Do I need a driver's license and insurance?

Yes, both. Bring a valid driver's license and current liability insurance on the truck doing the towing — a card or the carrier's app is fine. We check them at pickup before the trailer leaves the yard, and the renter on the agreement has to be the person whose license and insurance we see. No license or no coverage means no trailer, so get it sorted before you drive over.

    Deposit & payment

Does it cost anything to reserve a trailer?

No. Reserving a trailer is free — there's no booking fee and no deposit taken up front. You call, we check the yard, and your dates go on the calendar. The refundable deposit and the rental itself are both settled at pickup, and nothing is charged through the website.

How much is the deposit and when do I get it back?

$200 on the dump trailers and both tilt trailers, $150 on everything else, collected at pickup. It's refundable — we return it once the trailer comes back clean, undamaged and on time.

    How do I pay?

Credit card, debit card, cash, Zelle or Cash App. Everything — the rental, 8.25% Texas sales tax and the refundable deposit — is settled at pickup, and nothing is due before then. Nothing is charged through the website itself; the request form just organizes your details and gives you an estimated total.

    Booking & availability

    Can I book online?

Close to it. The reserve section shows you what's open and what's booked for your dates, straight off the yard calendar, and sending your request puts a short courtesy hold on that trailer while we wait to hear from you. The hold isn't a reservation — it expires on its own, and only a phone call turns it into a booked trailer. That's deliberate: the owner would rather tell you himself that a trailer is sitting there greased and aired up than let software promise it.

Is the trailer I want available today?

Probably — but nothing on this page shows live availability, so call and we'll tell you what's sitting on the yard right now. Short-notice rentals are normal around here.

Can I keep it longer than seven days?

Yes. The rate table stops at seven days because that covers most jobs — if you need it for two weeks or a month, call and we'll work out a rate for the stretch you need.

What if my dates change or I need to cancel?

Call as soon as you know. Dates move all the time on job sites and we'd rather shuffle the schedule than hold a trailer you can't use — moving your dates costs nothing. Cancelling costs nothing either, since we don't take any money up front — just call as soon as you know so we can free the trailer up for someone else.

    Pickup, delivery & hours

Do you deliver, or do I pick it up?

Either way. Hooking up at our yard in Early is always free. Delivery is $50 flat in Early, Brownwood, Blanket and Zephyr. Every other town we serve — Bangs and Coleman out to Comanche, Stephenville, Goldthwaite, Brady and Cisco — is that same $50 plus a dollar a mile past those four towns. Give us the address and we'll quote the whole run before you book.

What are your hours, and can I get a trailer after hours?

We're open 7:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 2:00 pm Saturday, and closed Sunday. Need a trailer outside those hours, or on a Sunday? Call and we'll come open the gate for a flat $50.

    Bringing it back

What if I'm running late bringing it back?

Call us at least two hours before your return time and you get a one-hour grace period. After that it's $50 per hour, or any part of an hour, past the return time. Not calling is a default under Section 15 of the rental agreement, so pick up the phone — we're easy to work with when we know.

How clean does it have to come back?

Sweep the deck and dump what you hauled. Dump trailers should come back empty — no dirt, gravel or debris left in the bed. That's all it takes to get the full deposit back.

Am I responsible for the trailer while I have it?

Yes. Every rental is covered by the signed APEX Master Trailer Rental Agreement, which spells out condition, use, tie-downs and returns. We go over it with you at pickup and you'll leave knowing exactly what you signed.

Still not sure which trailer or what it'll run? One call sorts it out.
